How to play the pickleball draft game
Build a starting four from real professional pickleball rosters. Your goal is a perfect 17–0 simulated season. You do not need an account to play.
1. Draft two women and two men
Each round reveals a team roster. Pick one eligible player and lock in your choice. Picks alternate woman, man, woman, man. You cannot draft the same player twice.
The player cards show playing-style archetypes such as Power player and Kitchen architect. Numeric ratings stay hidden: use your own knowledge of the players.
2. Decide when to redraw
You get two redraws for the entire draft. A redraw advances to the next team draw without adding a player. Spend them when a roster does not fit the four you want to build.
3. Play all 17 matches
By default, locking in your fourth pick plays all 17 matches automatically. The coach chooses tactics and mixed pairings. To make those decisions yourself, select “Choose strategies myself” before finishing the draft and play one match at a time.
Matches use simplified doubles games, with a DreamBreaker if tied. They are arcade simulations, not predictions of professional results.
4. Review and share your season
Open each match in the final record to see its games and strategy. Use Copy result to share your roster, record and a link to pbdraft. Unlimited mode lets you draft again or replay the same draws.
